Stupid scanner made the ink look too dark Dx

After multiple failed attempts on working on owed art, I decided to be irresponsible and spontaneously work on personal art just for the heck of it. I also have been wanting to do an ACEO lately.

So here is my OC Judicaël in his fossa form. I've been meaning to draw him and I thought I might as well practice drawing fossas since I'm not particularly good at them. Once again, this is an experiment--with watercolors this time. I used :iconmaevachan:'s watercolor tutorial for the background. I think it came out really interesting c:

Anyway, the title came from the initial sketch of Judi looking more like a lemur than a fossa, but also because lemurs are fossas' main source of food so they have similar body characteristics (long tails and flexible bodies so they can balance as well as travel through the trees of Madagascar with ease)...so yeah. Well I'm about to fall asleep. It's way past my bed time and I have to work tomorrow...so that's all for now.

Tools Used:
Mechanical Pencil
Watercolor Paint
Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils
Letraset Fineliner

Time Taken:
Lineart: 15-20 min.
Coloring (including drying time): 20 min.
Final Touches: 5 min.

Did you ever try to adjust the hue and saturation in Photoshop?

I was going to, but I was too tired to wait for PS to load last night. And I don't have much time now.
